This CPU is not supported

Hi, i have a little problem with my computer, when im turn it on it shows me this cpu is not supported press f1 to continue, when i press f1 all working fine, my cpu is i5 2400, motherboard asus h61m-g, processor rev. D2, motherboard rev. 1.01.

Is this a new problem (it worked before) or did you just put this build together?

Im build new computer now, its only 2 version of BIOS(or more but at the Asus website is only 2) for this motherboard 0310, 0312 is same problem on both of them.

That motherboard is not available new in the USA, so I don't have much more help for you if your BIOS is up to date.

But there is only 2 version of bios for this motherboard?

The documentation says it should work. The BIOS says it should work. I don't know why it does not work.

But it works fine, im just scared that cpu can burn or somethink.

The CPU is supported. I don't know why that warning appears. Like you, I would want to know.

I just wrote to Asus technical support, meybe they will have a solution, anyway i will let you know.
