This Custom Vs. Alienware x51

Hey, so i decided to build my first gaming pc (on a budget) the specs are:
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5ghz
GPU: RADEON HD 7870
Motherboard: ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3
PSU: EVGA 500W
a 500GB 7200 rotations HD
4GB Ram (for now, will get more later)

how does that fare against the x51 wich specs are:
CPU: 4th gen i5 (4 cores) 3.4GhZ
GPU:GTX 745
and the rest is pretty much the x51 default... (im still a noob at this so please be gentle xD)

i am not familiar with mobile tech, but, judging from the model number of the gpu (745), i won't consider it as a gaming gpu, a 7870 is faster hands down (unless i'm mistaken)

they are both desktops, i heard the x51 isnt too good ( can still all the new/upcoming games) and i could probably build a better one for like half the price, the result was that custom build...if it is indeed better i think all im missing is a case, a Cd/dvd/blue ray drive and the OS lol

A GTX 745 is doesn't exist. A GT740M is a laptop graphics card.

For that graphics card change it to an r7 265 its priced around the same but is much beter

anyway, next time, build you're own, it's fun. and for the specs, people here are willing to help
