Hello everyone, I'm new here, so I apologize if there are any mistakes.

Earlier I had attempted to update my graphics drivers through GeForce Experience and ran into an issue where the process had completely stopped on updating Physx. Thinking it was just taking a long time, I'd left it alone for a half hour - only to come back to it not having moved at all. So I searched a few forums, and saw many people suggesting to update the drivers manually through NVIDIA's official website, but to clear any previous drivers before doing so.

The program I used is known as Display Driver Uninstaller: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

After booting into safe mode, I ran the program and had absolutely no problem doing so, and once it was done it had restarted normally. Once my computer had fully restarted, I went and downloaded the latest drivers (353.30) and when I began running it, that's where my problem began.

So far I've attempted only a handful of things. Attempting to find the ID of the GPU lead nowhere as absolutely NOTHING regarding the GPU itself came up. After that I had cleared the CMOS and nothing worked. In the BIOS there is nothing that mentions prioritizing the onboard graphics or the GPU. I even went as far as to take out the GPU itself and dust off the PCI-e slot and power cables.

EDIT: I'm typing this on the same computer. The HDMI cable is connected to both the monitor and GPU, so I know there's a signal coming off it at least.

Here is my full setup:
ASUS M4A89GTD Pro/USB3 Motherboard
AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz
G.SKILL 4GB
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 2GB (basic model from NVIDIA themselves)
Corsair TX750 PSU
500GB HDD

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

If you are just having issues with updating the driver, is there a specific reason you want to do that, outside of just having the latest one? If not, leave it as is. Since you already wiped them, just use the older driver that worked. While not a fix, if there is no reason to update them, you then don't have an issue.

Also check to make sure that there is not a known bug with the drivers and your card.
