My current rig has everything in here excecpt the MOBO is currently a M5A97 LE R2.0 only one 770.

Maybe the extreme4 is a little higher or something so my evo may not fit?? I'm worried because they are warning me about clearance.

Motherboards are all the same height . Well to the top of the cpu anyway .

Yes it is compatible. Changing the motherboard will make no difference.

I doubt you do . In fact I know you cant .... because you dont even know the games played or the monitor resolution

Quite aware of this. Cash is tight so i can't afford to switch to a lga socket mobo and buy a new cpu at the same time. So what i;m currently doing is selling my m5a97 for a mobo that can support sli, going to use my 6300, then when i get the money i will resell my new Extreme4 mobo for an lga mobo and get a 4670k
