So first of all, i'm going to be ranting for a while so you have been warned.
Im an 15 year old boy that lives in a lower income family, i have nonstop played videogames for 6 years now whilst remaining not obese and running a good enough 4 and half rounds on cooper test.
Now its about an year since i swapped to pc as i wanted to be introduced to competetive gaming, i got my pc from my brother and it had gtx 960 and amd fx 6300, obviously i was thankful.
Then a few months afterwards i do a small upgrade in to ryzens with ryzen 3 1200, still no problems, life is great even though i want to get to high school (---> and university) and im getting

[Profanity edited out - keep your posts clean. Family friendly.]

grades as games are even more of a passion for me.
Now about 3 months ago i got myself an ryzen 5 2600 and 144hz monitor after saving up for a few months and getting help from family, they support me in competetive gaming which can either be sad or nice to you.
Thats when s**t (on toms hardware i have to be careful what i say) hit the fan, I have a gpa too low to enter high school so vocational is looking like the choice, and I finish building the new pc, well inserting new cpu.
After first powering it up i see nothing but blankness, I see if the old cpu would work only to see it has a twisted pin.
My brother and uncle visit and say the most likely thing is the motherboard so i splash cash on that... only to see its still not working.
Next comes psu, still not working. (Lot of cash already gone...)
Im still struggling at school and im acting very irritated and angry because im used to play daily now i cant (im a very nihilistic person so i only like to focus on one thing for life that being gaming).
Now i see that the motherboard is not compatible with ryzen 2nd gens and needs an bios update, that i cant do with an old broken cpu.
I get a new mobo adding a few days to no pc days. My grades are still plummiting as i have 0 motivation for anything and when i finally get the new mobo my pc starts working... for a few days, im actually literally starting to believe in a god just not wanting me to play games.
Gpu stops working after finally getting a few days of 144hz gaming and here i am, 2 hours after gpu not working, triggered as an forbidden word,.
My question is when do i give up on the thing that makes my family dissapointed in me, me wasting money, and it having taken 6 of what usually are the best years of your life. Id love to just press restart on life....

Solution
You give up now.

There is no restart button.

Forget the past except for the lessons you have learned from your "mistakes". (Your situation is all too common.)

Play a "real game". One of the toughest there is - especially at your age.

Get your grades up. Join a team. Get a job. Work hard. Help around the house and home. Do chores. Stay clean and out of trouble.

Have fun and find other interests. Try new things.

Maybe not all at once but get moving. Grades first.

Win for real.

Games will become very trivial if you ca
