Yeah I was stupid enough to ignore a Firefox warning that said website's cert was expired ><

This damned thing keeps popping up. Malwarebytes and quick Windows Defender scans found nothing. Had the full scan running earlier but had to force-restart PC when windows taskbar would not respond (could alt-tab between active programs but not use taskbar), and still nothing.

Am thinking run CCleaner but never seen it recommended in IT security. Any suggestions? Thanks!

This is a false positive from the last defender update. Nothing to be concerned about. Fix is already under way.

Yes, search the name of "virus" in the search engine of your choice and read the literally dozens of sources.

It has something to do with Chrome and some other program which runs things like Discord. Well documented online already and a bug fix has been issued which is resolving many issues already. No joke.
