I'm conflicted between a custom desktop which I know would be more powerful and this laptop, for portability.

I'm conflicted between a custom desktop which I know would be more powerful and this laptop, for portability.

Any laptop with a gtx 1070 or 1660ti or better along with a ryzen 5 or higher with i5 7th gen or higher with at least 16gb of ram will produce a very smooth video editing experience, so it should work great. I'd only be concerned about 512GB storage space I'd add more storage if the laptop supports it.
