[SOLVED] This may seem stupid

I know this may seem like a dumb question for almost anyone on this forum but I can't seem to find out why. My question is if a phone CPU has more cores and a decent clock speed compared to most desktop cpus, then what makes a desktop cpu perform beter even if a phone's cpu has better specs? Sorry if this is very obvious.
