This PC Build good for gaming?

Solution

Not quite sure on the insistence of the 32GB SSD, in terms of price it is a little cheaper, but 32GB is barely large enough for an OS and you get a lot more space for a relatively small investment. $55 for 120GB is amazing.

On the harddrive, a few extra dollars for WD I don't see a problem there.

I tend to avoid extremely cheap memory from brands I don't recognize, your results may vary.

This PC build would get decent FPS at medium-high settings. That graphics card is great for it's price. On YouTube I recommend looking up a channel called "ThaTechGamer". ThaTechGamer has an HD 7770 and he has several videos testing the 7770 with games on Ultra settings mostly. Also I'd get an AMD FX 6300 CPU instead of that APU. It has 6 cores and is 3.5GHz stock. I tweaked the build a bit here:

1) Same CPU architecture without wasting the integrated GPU
2) Same video card, one generation newer
3) SSD went from 32GB to 120GB for only $20
4) Dual channel memory
5) Higher quality power supply that leaves you room for upgrades
