This Psu enough for new system?

Hello, im making a new computer and i want to get a second opinion about whether or not this psu is enough.

amd a10 5800k -cpu
geforce gtx 550ti -gpu
16gb (2x8gb) ddr3 -ram

i have 4 hdds for a combined 641.5gb all sata3 but i dont know their rpms as they were hand me downs from other ppl. i plan on chaning some out for a 7200rpm TB

im buying big because i plan to add another gpu

Absolutely my dear sir. The GPU you are using is relatively low end as far as power consumption goes. Just one question, why the A10? It doesn't make much sense if you are running a graphics card, you would be better off with a FX series something or another. I am no expert on APU's but this whole thing just doesn't really mesh up for me.

You don't need 750w for that system, 450w is plenty or 500w.

How you're gonna crossfire a 550 ti ? it's a nvidia cpu, only with mobos that support SLI, your mobo doesn't.

Ah rats, because on an APU, because they already have a graphics chip built onto it you can crossfire it with another AMD discrete card, which would make use of the GPU on the APU. Now instead you are just going to completely disable the APU and treat it like a CPU. Overall what I am saying is that you probably should have done more research, and as well with the graphics card, I think nowadays the GTX 650ti is a better bang for your buck GPU. Anyway that PSU will do you fine. 750 W is a hell of a lot of power, even with a second 550ti, you shouldn't be anywhere near the peak of that box.

Wow I didn't even bother to check if the mobo supported SLI. I'm a bit of a novice. Overall I think your build needs to be thought out a bit better. django, do you know where I could find benchmarks for the A10 5800k + HD7660D Crossfire configuration? I wanted to compare them to a 550ti/ 650ti

That guide is nearly laughable, saying that GTX550ti is going to eat 200 watts is ridiculous.

That asus calculator is totally wrong, a 550 ti max power draw is 115w, and a psu with 400w.
As for the benchmarks, with a 550 ti, i can't find.

The 550 ti is better than a 6670 crossfired with the apu.

I don't see any problem with that. As long as it's got all the pins you need, like Django said, you only need like 500 watts.
