Its coming from erroneous math... which is common with SSD marketing unfortunately
151.99/4096 is around 3.6 cents per GB, but in actuality a 4TB SSD only has roughly 3600GiB of actual space, so the true cost per GiB is around 4.2 cents per GiB.

Price is decent but still not as good as the 2tb drives I picked up for $70.

For slow nand storage go for sata drivers.
The team group has tlc ssds with good TBW and good price.
Got one 1tb for 34us

Sure are a lot of "stopped working after X months" reviews that you don't see with Samsung. Might be a good secondary drive.
