This sucks

Ok after runing windows 2k for a few days every thing was fine but then i started to run into some problems.as soon as windows starts and i login the trouble start.First of i cant drag icons,copy,paste,open new windows in IE.Also some of my programs like windows media player just shut down.Does anybody know waht could be wrong i already ran Trend micros -house call- and it couldnt find any viruses.It almost as if windows was falling appart.Also if i check the eventvwr it logs an error every 45 seconds but i cant read what it says becasue if right click to open propeties nothing comes up(yes just like in IE i also have a problem that i cant run folders in web mode have to run it in classic).all i know is i get event 7001 and 7000.Does anybody know wats wrong ?

you got the worm that destroyed your system files. have to portitiyon/format/install to fix it.
