This sucks

So i got new PC few days ago and i noticed a problem.

So i have C Hard disk, windows 7 is installed there.
And then i have this G Hard disk, where i am supposed to install my games and movies.

For example when i try to install Dishonored into my G drive (1000GB) it is slow and crashes and i cannot complete the installation.
Same thing is with League of legends, Guild Wars 2 and oblivion.

But when i try to install my games on my C drive, it works perfectly and fast no crashing.

Could someone reply to this because i dont have the space to install games to my C drive.

is anyone else suffering about the same problem
My specs
2x Xeon 5150 dualcore 2,66ghz
Gtx 560
4 gigs RAM
not sure how many Watt power supply but i know its enough.

Whoa. You should've mentioned your hdd make and model, because i think problem is in it. Are your C: and G: located on one physical drive or each on separate drive?

Is ur C Drive and ur G Drive is same HDD or different ?
if different , I think probably is ur HDD is slow on its own ~

You could run chkdsk on the g drive to see if it's bad.

The greens aren't really that good, I'd look for a better drive before carrying on but if thats not an option then note your windows key, reformat the drive as a single partition and re-install windows,

Can you recommend any decent Hard drives under 80 euros or that price class.

I mostly play games.
