This will be my build. Feedback very welcome and encouraged. Thanks!

I know you already purchased the case and HDD, but could you return them?

Honestly, my four pieces of feedback were:
1) Get a small SSD for a boot drive (m500 120 gig, or Samsung Pro 120 gig if you can afford it) to make for faster boots and generally a snappier OS, and then buy a relatively inexpensive but still good 1TB HDD (like a WD Blue).
2) I don't think you need to spend that much on a case - you could do this build in a HAF 912 for half the price. That case supports a ton of cooling, including radiator support, none of which it seems like you're going to use...
3) Why do you need that big PSU? That's a good price for 850 watts, but I don't think you need that. You could probably get a very good 650 or 750 and save yourself $40 bucks there. And never notice the difference.
4) That GPU seems like its value/price ratio is pretty low; I think you could get a better card - 970 - for cheaper. What about the Gigabyte 970, maybe the windforce one for $400 Canadian?

You could buy a 4970, sure, but why? If you're gaming primarily, you'll never need that kind of CPU power. If you're doing a ton of video editing, that's a different story... Tell us what you're doing and maybe we can give you better advice.

Yes, primarily gaming. I just bought the case, yes. But the Hard drive was purchased prior. Its coming out of a build i did before with 2 500GB HDD's. Im selling the machine and keeping one of the 500GB's, that way i dont need to redownload everything. I don't think at this time i can afford a SSD, but i will be investing in one in the future, but the NZXT phantom has easily expandable memory as most cases do, so i will probably buy that in the future. Should i go with the GTX 970? and ill be waiting until cyber monday for most of this stuff, so if certain things go on sale i may think about making minor tweaks, tell me what you think.

EDIT : i have an OCZ 520 12u in my current machine which doesnt need nearly that. Think that will cover this build or get a bigger one?

Second edit : i kinda am set on this case, i know its a bit more expensive but its just too damn pretty haha

You -will- have to re-download everything... you can't just plug a HDD with a buncha installed stuff into a totally new machine and think it will run - it won't.

Every aftermarket case on the market has expandable memory - that's hardly a reason. I know you don't like this, but I would suggest to you that the case you purchased is not a great 'value'. Which is fine - I've made many a purchase because it had the look I want - just know that. The 780 eats a lot of power...if you swap it for a 970, you might be able to get by with the PSU, but its pushing it... I would rather you had 650. Technically, with a 970 you'd be eating 370 watts at peak load, which should be okay, but its a little too close to capacity for me.
