I had a 1300w EVGA G2 Supernova gold PSU. I got it in the summer of 2012 or 2013. not 100% sure. Used to have my PC on 24/7 for a few years. But just watching videos and internet. No hardcore gaming for the most part.

I thought it was going bad since I am getting black screens in destiny 2 and shadow of war then a crash. I went to Fry's on christmas eve and got the best one they had in stock, a 750 PC power and cooling MKIII Silencer Gold rated. Still got crashes. Bought a few games like starwars battlefront 2 and need for speed payback and got close to 60 FPS on high/ultra for hours with no crashes.

So both PSUs are good most likely. Some other issue I need to figure out. Should I put the 1300w one back in my PC? Or should I just leave the 750w one in. Is 4-5 years on it enough too much? It has a 10 year warantee so I'd guess it'd get a few more years.

I have an i7 8700k I use MSI game mode on to overclock it. And a 980 gtx i use EVGA precision on. Soon to be a 1080ti FTW3.
