It's good. You won't notice any performance differences between this ssd and the 970 in general use or gaming.

Thanks for the suggestion, i've just changed it now. The only other thing I was wondering about is if a 1080 would be viable or would this struggle at 1440p?

So no your'e all good in that respect.

If anything Id chamge the s340 personally, for all its nice aesthetics & build quality its actually subpar cooling wise imo.

An 8700k & 1080ti is going to run hot in there.

Id also swap back to that mx500 m2 drive tbat jaslion listed above.
Double the storage for the same price & a speed difference (which may be vast on paper but not in real world use) which is generally unnoticeable is a no brainer for me personally.

Yes sorry i should have made it clearer, would I be able to swap the 1080ti for a 1080 and still have good performance at 1440p?
As for the case I just put that one as a generic one, do you have an suggestions? I'm looking for more of a plain look and have no desire for RGB. Also I have changed the the m2 for a SSD thanks

The p300 is a better case than the s340, its also a fiver cheaper.

Thanks for the help, I am planning on getting a 1080it because it'll be more future proof. I was looking at 2080s but the performance seems to be very very similar to the 1080ti.
