Thoughts/Comments on this Build

Well, my wife and I build one PC, and now she's jealous and wants to build her own. We are on a tight budget (holidays..) so I managed to get it under $900. We will probably get a GPU later (thinking GTX 1060 3GB), but she just plays the PS4 for now. Mainly using it work, studying, and causal gaming. She doesn't want one like mine, but she wants personality. We just bought the RAM and motherboard today from Newegg. Probably will get a SSD down the line. All comments appreciated.

You won't need a PSU bigger than what you have listed for the 1060 so you should be good. I agree that you'll most likely want about a 240-250gb SSD for OS and primary game or two, because traditional drives are so slow. Otherwise I think you have a pretty good build there. Add an SSD and when you can afford it the 1060 and she'll be good to go.

I'll probably get a Samsung Evo 850 down the line, but 750 watts is overkill..considering this build is under 200w, and the 1060 and extra SSD will probably only add another 200w...if that

I tried to convince to go dual or triple screen like me. That way we can get some at a time. I'll even look for thin bezels, but she is stuck on Ultrawide...they just can be so darn costly
