Just looking for a gaming monitor for my little brothers to play their ps4 and future PC games on. Under or at 30" diagonally please.

You could go two directions. For your future PC games, you can get the BenQ GW2765HT which is a 1440p IPS 27" monitor. IIRC, your PS4 won't natively output at 1440p only at 1080p but the BenQ has nice interpolation so it shouldn't look bad. If you are more interested in the competitive gaming scene, the Samsung C24FG70 offers high refresh rate 144hz in exchange for a smaller 24" and 1080p. But it keeps good color and good input lag. Both are near the upper limit of your budget though. If you want to go the high refresh rate route, then the ViewSonic XG2401 is a good alternative but trades that VA panel for a TN with, well, TN color reproduction. For 1440p monitors, the BenQ BL2420PT would be the alternative...
