Thoughts on DSR on 1080p Monitors

Hi All
I am just wanting peoples thoughts and experience using DSR function with the GTX900 series gpu's to improve resolutions on a 1080p monitor?
Are people finding gaming better and similar frame rates? Or people experiences more lag or any issues using it?

DSR is basically SSAA, there won't be much difference.

It's good for older games but not worth the performance hit on new games that will challenge your system @ 1080p.

Personally, I think MFAA is much more interesting. If you have a GSync monitor though, you may get away with 4K DSR, but for the same setup, I'd rather have something like 16× MSAA, MFAA enabled (which should also help with temporal aliasing slightly), or even more preferably, dual/triple monitors (bit expensive) and 2× MSAA+MFAA.
