I have been researching for about a month now and have asked on here as well on suggestions for a first time gaming (possibly streaming) rig since I'm new to the PC world. This is what I have thought of currently:

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500
CPU Cooler: CRYORIG H7
Motherboard: Asus Z170-E ATX
Memory: 2x4GB Crucial Ballistic Sport
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon RX 480 NITRO+
Case: NZXT Phantom 410
Power Supply: Rosewill 550W

Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated before I begin purchasing. Also, heres a link to pcparpicker if needed.

locked chip with a aftermarket heat sink and an overclocking board???...no compatibility issue ofcourse, but not the best of combinations mate...
> z170 boards are more expensive due to their overclocking ability, and ur cpu is locked, u will not get any additional benefit with a z170 board...
> the i5 6500 stock cooler is enuf to power that chip...
> better to include a minimum ssd for faster load times...

maybe this wud be more ideal if u wanna take a look...

This would be much better.

Better cpu, 275GB ssd, better psu, much better monitor, more RAM. Only $10 more.

The cpu cooler and paste was unnecessary.

Solution
Thank you I appreciate it. The moniter was just there for an average price just so I would know lol.

I didn't look into great detail about locked chips or overclocking, so thanks for the info! I'll keep that in mind for upgrades or other builds.
