Thoughts on my build

I will be building a new gaming PC in February and I just wanted some second opinions and thought on my proposed build. The Specs are as follows:

Case: Corsair Carbide Series Black 400R Mid Tower Computer Case (CC-9011011-WW)
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K Processor (8M Cache, up to 4.40 GHz) (BX80646I74790K)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory (CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10)
GPU: MSI Graphics Cards GTX 980 GAMING 4G
Mobo: MSI ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1150 Motherboards Z97-G45
Optical Drive: LG Electronics 14x Internal BDXL Blu-Ray Burner Rewriter WH14NS40
System Drive: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD
Storage Drive: Seagate Barracuda 2 TB HDD SATA 6 Gb/s NCQ 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive ST2000DM001
Power Supply: XFX PRO750W Core Edition 80+ Bronze ATX 750

That's everything. My main concerns are the space(If that gpu will actually fit in my case) as well as the power requirements(If 750W is enough) so if anyone has any ideas or opinions on that I'm all ears.

The power supply should be enough for a single card. If it's strictly for gaming, I think it's a bit overkill. If it's in your budget, then that's awesome but you won't get much increase in gaming performance with the i7 over an i5 4690k and same with the 16gb of ram instead of 8gb. Depending on the overclock, I'd save money in one or both of those two areas and invest in a better cooler. It's not a bad cooler but it's really only a good replacement for stock or for mild overclocks - good for the price doesn't make it the best for cooling. Other than that it's a solid build that's for sure. Not lacking, if any cons it would be cost of going a little overboard.

Well I had a budget of $1750 and so far it fits into that budget very nicely.

As for the CPU cooler I was worried about it not fitting on my motherboard/case. This was my original choice:

Everything should fit. The gpu is only 11" long and that case supports cards up to 12.5" long. The case supports coolers up to 175mm tall so plenty of clearance for the noctua nh-d14 (160mm).

You're welcome, I think you'll be really happy with your rig. Like I mentioned before, if there's any 'cons' to it that would be going a bit overkill in a few areas (if you can call them cons lol). It won't lack for performance.
