[SOLVED] Thoughts on my first build, any advice?

Solution
Main usage would be gaming. I'd like to run most titles at high settings. For the monitor the refresh rate is 144hz and resolution would be 1920 x 1080
Any 2080 is overkill for 1080p.

A 2060 would be fine for 1080, a 2070 would be more than needed but would almost guarantee a constant high frame rate.

What is your main usage?
Monitor resolution and refresh rate?

I will add more depending on the answer to the above, but at first glance:
  • If it's an intel system, going for 3200 RAM won't make much difference, It's Ryzen systems where higher RAM speeds really make noticeable differences.
  • You could probably swap the Samsung SSD for a 1Tb Intel 660p for probably slightly less.
  • You can knock another 100/200W off the PSU. A good quality 650W would run most 2080 systems, a good quality 750W gives you more than enough including any overclocking.

Faster SSD, and graphics, for slightly less.

The kind of money you're spending? Go for 1440p/144hz or 4k, it's wasted on a 1080p display. You could get 1080 smooth as butter for waaaaay less. Shorting the parts list so you can afford a better monitor is a better plan than buying all this for a 1080 display.

It's a fine list but you're maxing everything out, might as well have a screen capable of displaying all the excess.
