Thoughts on my New PC?
I want to build a new PC that can not only play most games with high settings but is also quiet.

Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H Motherboard
Corsair Obsidian 550D Case
MSI Radeon HD7870 Hawk 2GB
Corsair HX-650 V2 80 PLUS Gold Power Supply
Corsair CMP8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM001
Intel Core i5 3570K
Corsair Air Series AF120 Quiet Edition Case Fan Twin Pack

Any suggestions on changes to the system would be great help,

The case is a must have item, unless anyone can suggest a cheaper case, yet still having great looks and build quality.

A good 500w would easily power up a 7870 but there's no bad reason to get 650.

The rigs good. Throw an aftermarket cooler like the 212 EVO on it so you can overclock and an SSD (Samsung 830 or OCZ Vertex 4 128GB), then your all set.

I wanted to add a SSD but i'm on a bit of a budget at the moment, but i will be adding one at a later time. Also would it be worth it to buy a water cooler, such as the H40 which might be a little bit quieter over a regular CPU cooler

Nope, it aint worth it. Lowest end watercooler is the Corsair H60, performs exactly the same as a 212 EVO in cooling performance for double the cost.

As for how loud it is, that entirely comes down to the fan, which you can always replace. Those Corsair Quiet edition fans are quite good for heatsinks.
