Already bought all my crap, which was delivered yesterday. Spent about $530 or so. Just looking for opinions on it and anything I may have overlooked/need to keep an eye out for as I build her later.
This is primarily a gaming PC, with some photoshopping thrown in.
CPU: i5 2500k (planning on taking it to 4.2-4.4)
MB: AsRock Extreme4 P67
Cooler: Hyper 212+
RAM: 8GB Gskill RipjawsX 1600 CAS9
PSU: Corsair HX650
DVDRW: Asus run-of-the-mill
Those are the purchased parts, the rest is from a build to be cannabalized.
Case is an Antec p90, still in great shape. Cool and quiet, even though it weighs as much as my desk. 4 case fans.
GPU is an XFX 5770 that doesnt have much wear on it. Will upgrade eventually, but it gets the job done.
A couple of SATA2 WD HD's, combined for around 1TB.
Any red flags or precautions with any of this stuff playing nice?
