Just wanted some thoughts on the parts I have picked out for my first ever PC build. Aimed for $1000 but dont mind that i went a little over, and also want to keep the white theme. May do a little gaming, Also hoping to upgrade some parts in the future. Buying the parts from www.mwave.com.au, Have limited parts due to being in australia. -_-

Thank you in advance.

Few changes i would make (and some issues that should be addressed):

CPU > Look into Ryzen, they offer great Gaming performance against the i5's and typically superior rendering capabilities.
GPU > I'd try squeeze a RX 470/570 within the price if you can find one they offer 50%+ more Performance.
PSU > Low quality, do you have the Corsair CXM 450 or what other selections are available around the price?
MOBO > No need for a Z board on a locked CPU, these boards are for Overclocking and have no value to your system, swap to a B250 for cheaper.
RAM > Your Motherboard/CPU use DDR4 not DDR3 RAM, you need to change this.

Hope this helps :)

I just used PCPP for pricing. Basically following CRO5513Y's edits, and changed PSU to high quality.

would suggest u to get a high speed ram like 3000 mhz and up ur ssd to 240gb. 120gb gets filled up fast.
what abt gpu? u already got a cooler?
other parts looks good.

get the dukase if its availale, probably cheaper than my choice of case here.
would suggest a 1x8gb of high speed 3000/3200 ram now and then upgrade to 16 gigs later if budget is tight.
would suggest the ripjaw v 3200 ram for that.
