Go with Skylake since DD4 prices are comparable to DDR3 and CPU performance is a bit faster, also with the release of the RX 480 8gb right around the corner it will be worth it to wait. Also the EVGA PSU you picked out is low quality, I put in a better model.

Well, the cpu is last gen and I see no reason for not going with a current gen cpu on a new build, especially where the 6700k is actually a bit cheaper than a 4790k. The SSD is one of the worst you can buy, the psu is one of EVGA worst units, and the GTX 970 is a terrible option with the RX 480 about to be released as its going to be cheaper with the same or better performance.

New gen cpu, slightly better cpu cooler, 256Gb SSD,and a better quality PSU.
