I am thinking of building a new pc and here is my pre-build hardware: Budget $600 - $700

Would like to have everyone's thoughts on this build?

Video Card: mid-range video card

Processor: Core™ i7 2600K LGA 1155 Boxed Processor

MotherBoard: ASUS P8P67 Deluxe R3 LGA 1155 P67 ATX Intel Motherboard

I think it is a great overall build
I would suggest looking at this case

just as an option

2600k is kind of over kill

it would help to know how you plan to use your computer

as far as video card goes
what is your budget for card?
everybody's idea of mid range is different

I would recommend a GTX 460 1gb at around $150 as a good deal
they are in the process of discontinuing the 460
have dropped prices
Great card for the money

Thanks for doing this for me. I am new at this and my friend mentioned to me that I should ask all the guys from Tom's to get feedback on a pre-build.

I appreaciate you doing this for me.

Are these for RAID 0 or RAID 1 ? Your MB gives you intel matrix storage manager.

re: "Video Card: mid-range video card " You've seen this... http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-graphics-card,2964-3.html

Aside: If the full gtx460 is going for $150 (noted above) that is not a bad price. Just avoid the 1GB SE version (crippled vs. non SE) and the 768MB version. While both are great cards, they are not the same as the full gtx 460 and a $150 price on them wouldn't be the same great deal.
