Probably the reason the felt the need to be explicit on that.

Hmm.. Not a bad idea, drawing the shifter control side from the Blake
books. WW overruled.

Maybe. Weres aren't immune to Dominate or Majesty. Letting Animalism
affect them might not be too bad (and it's only Animalism 2 that'd be
affected, and it'd basically just function as Dominate 2).

The biggest change would be that Gangrel would suddenly have the upper
hand in Gangrel/werewolf interactions -- the only other clan with
Animalism is the Ventrue, and they've got Dominate, which works better.

Will have to take a look at the Requiem Disciplines more closely..
Requiem is waiting in my shelf, just waiting for the right idea to hit
me. I tried fashioning something in the spirit of the Blakes and
Sunglasses, but that failed to inspire enough when built on top olf
oWoD.

Requiem being quite a bit more of an uncharted territory, it might be
more worthwhile to see how far you can go from oWoD, maintaining
everything that is good in Requiem.

Given how W:tF seems to be lumping everything non-wolf as basically spirits
walking around disguised in human forms, the basic conceit of Sunglasses
could be easily maintained, though perhaps more as a werewolf thing than a
vampire one (unless you're talking just requiring some Auspexy to pick out
non-humans)
