Hi, Im building a computer for my friend, you got any thoughts on this build, something i could change for a better performance, ofcourse to the same price.

Hey there,

It's a good build for the most part. Unless you have a specific need for more cores/threads then getting the Ryzen 5 3600 is a good bet. It's faster at gaming and is ample for any game currently out there. But then, I'd prob go for the 3700x myself, which is a stellar CPU.

You might also think about slightly faster ram, with 3600mhz being optimal for Ryzen.

Tom's own review says as much too.

The difference between the ram is slight. THe 3600mhz will be faster IMO, even though the 3200mhz has a lower CL (16 v 18) but the bump in mhz out ways that.

An improvment for sure going with both parts.

• Does it have FreeSync, GSync, or neither?

I ask this because I'm trying to determine if the RX 5700 XT is necessary, or if it's worth considering a lower-tier video card.

I'd say that if the price of the 3200 and 3600 RAM is close, then go for the higher speed. But, you might not lose very much by going to 3200.

Hi, as for right now, hes playing on 65inch 4k tv monitor. Hes planning to buy a 2k pc monitor in the future, but he'll be playing on the 64 inch for a while.

If the intent is to go 2560x1440, then the 5700XT will definitely be a good choice, though the 5700 non-XT may be sufficient as well, depending on what refresh rate he's trying to get.

He wont be running 4k, i believe hes playing on 1200x600 or something right now, on a crappy laptop.
He wants to run decent graphic while having decent resolution.
I think well got with the XT model.
Do you know if all the parts are capable of running together, the parts i linked in the top, with the other parts i found.

The 5700XT is definitely better, performance-wise, than the 2060 Super.

The 2060 Super does, however, consume less power.
