I gotta agree. This build is a great build for $1000. I don't see anything wrong or anything I would change. Your build will easily play those games that you like on high settings. Nicely done, Nacker.

I will try to help with the same build but cheaper.

Since you have a non K cpu you won't be overclocking so you will be perfectly fine with the stock cooler.

No, but a $30 cooler will be a good thing for the system, and it's not that expensive.

You're correct. With non "k" CPUs, you don't need to spend an extra $30 on cooler. The stock cooler is fine.
