I was planning on getting this monitor, its a nice 144HZ monitor with free sync and everything and is overall amazing from a price and feature point of view.
I probably am pretty stupid for asking this but if I don't use an AMD card here will I still be getting the 144hz experience? Will I still be able to see 144 HZ without the AMD card? (I know that obviously I have to be able to get 144 FPS to see it)

Yeah I know, problem is that I'm getting the product shipped to Australia, with the one I suggested it comes with free shipping, this one is an extra $50 USD or $70+ AUD

That monitor brand looked like a korean cheap no-names a.k.a. B-ware.
Monitor panels manufacturers sell their second-grade panels to these kind of brands while sending the first-grade panels to known brands e.g. Samsung, ASUS, BenQ, MSI, Dell, HP, etc.
I would not recommend such brands unless they are extremely cheap since there are risks involved.
The risk does not worth USD100. If you are getting such monitors, it is better be at least 50% the price of similar monitors from known brands.

You can use 144hz of freesync monitors, if you have nVidia GPU, you just won't be able to use FreeSync.

I looked into 'Nixeus' just now and they seem to be an American Brand/Manufacturer of monitors and seem pretty reputable. Do you still think its risky? If it is I would definitely change the one I would buy

Even if it is not a korean cheap brand e.g. US cheap brand, it is still a cheap brand. The company must have cut on something to make it cheap.
It is also very possible that they bought those second-grade panels.

Going with US cheap brands is ok, if you actually live in USA or Canada
If you live in in Australia, always try to get items from Australia and avoid long distance shipping.
You will have a really hard time, if you have to go for RMA. Even if the RMA process went smooth, no one can change the shipping duration from and to Australia.
