Thoughts on this under priced psu(under priced for a psu that is)

I think it is laughable and wouldn't trust it to work good

Don't use it. Quality 700w power supplies can be found on sale in the ~$50-$60 range quite often. No reason to buy crap when quality is just a tiny bit more. Especially since the PSU is the single most important part of your computer.

What do you need a 700w power supply for? 700 watts would typically be for a Crossfire or Sli system with 2 x $250+ graphics cards. Don't risk such an expensive setup to something that could potentially destroy it.

If that's what you have already then you are fine. The Corsair CX series is Corsair's budget line though and with a higher end GPU like the HD 7950 I would go with something a bit better.

Also why the 3570K and a motherboard you can't overclock with?

the 3570 is more expensive 😛 oddly enough

I might just pick up a cpu cooler and change out the mobo
I dont have everything here yet
it is shipping
but the 3570k was a last minute switcher due to it being cheaper
