Thread Close / Purge

Just so nobody goes into a bling / blind panic I have just been:

1. Closing old threads (starting with mine);

2. Deleting unanswered threads over a week or so in age (mine, doggy's and Achean's so far ... plus one of JDJ's).

These should be pushed down the list fairly quickly ... especially if you post on the active threads which push these to the top again ... <hint hint>

Bump all of your latest threads up to the top guys ... I can't do any more tonight.

Closing all of the old threads stops necroposters on the front page of the forums with the search engine.

Guys thank you for your patience.

Essentially from the front page using the search engine it is very easy to end up dragging up a thread from the dark ages and committing the sin of "necroposting" ... which is reviving a dead thread ... meaningless ... but also sometimes riotously funny.

Closing old threads prevents necroposting.

Thanks again for bumping up all your current stuff.

If I closed something you want left open simply PM oldman or myself and we will open it.
