Hi,

I recently did a PC Build. Below specs:

CPU : AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2950x with CM Wraithripper cooler
TIM : Noctua NT-H1 (Recently re-applied)
Mobo: MSI X399 Gaming pro Carbon AC
GPU : Nvidia Zotac RTX 2080 Ti
Memory: 16GB DDR4 G.Skill 3200 Ripjaw V-series
PSU: Coolermaster V1000 Vanguard 1000W Modular
Monitor: Acer predator x34P 34inch IPS.
Case: Corsair 500R With fans - Front : 2x120mm, Side : 1x200mm, Rear: 1x120mm, Top : 2x140MM, Bottom: 1x120mm.

I was going through the temperature readings for CPU under extreme gaming load and was confused on which one is actually accurate.

The same instance below monitoring applications are showing different CPU temperatures:
1) Ryzen Master/HWMonitor - 48
2) Core Temp - 75
3) HWInfo (Sensors) - 72.3 & 76

Monitoring screenshot here: https://ibb.co/9yBrg4d

From HWInfo and Core Temp, max temp is raising upto 90+ which shouldn't be the case HWMonitor was giving around 69 max temp which must be the case as I have a good air cooler and my case has 4x120mm, 2x140mm and 1x200mm fans with nice cable management.

Can someone confirm if HWMonitor/Ryzen master readings are accurate and I am safe to monitor those temps?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Solution
I've used both HWmonitor and Ryzen Master and since they both read the same temps didn't see a reason to get anymore monitoring software and considering Ryzen Master is AMD's software I'd be really surprised to find out that it isn't accurate.

I got this doubt as a fellow TomsH member stated to not use HWmonitor as a first choice for thermal monitoring in the below thread:

Thanks for your clarification!
