Have just built a threadripper on azus extreme mobo. Have old desktop with crucial sata drive runng all programmes. Can I slot this onto new build and boot.
Have cad and rendering software that does not like win 10.

A dozen times a day...

Does this drive have an OS on it?
Or is it just applications from the old system and OS?

Either way....that will not work.

If it has an OS (Win 7?) that is highly unlikely to just boot up in the new hardware.
Even if it did (but it won't), it would soon become unactivated.

If it is just applications from the old system, that won't work because the new OS in the Threadripper system knows nothing about them.
