Threads with "Hello"

I have noticed a number of threads starting with titles of "Help" and when you open the content it only has "Hello" for the message.

I strongly believe these are bots.

I think it's connected with Tom's main page where the "Ask a question" box has the word "Hello" in it, inviting the user to put the question in there instead of that word. Many new posters ask the question in the title and leave the "Hello" in.

Yes, some of them are indeed legitimate, but unless the title is descriptive enough (which it usually isn't since it can only have a small number of characters) it's basically a useless thread. The OP often never comes back to clarify questions about their issue.

And moderators are empowered to remove these at will, of course.

Indeed, so it might be worth reporting them when you see them so that we can prevent our members' valuable time from being wasted.
