Three monitor recommendation and configuration

I had purchased three Dell E2209WF monitors and two of those monitors went out after about a year or so. The third one has lasted, but I'm looking to buy three new monitors that I'm going to configure on a Humanscale three arm monitor stand so I can have a floating monitor setup.

I've been looking at some new monitors and I'm interested in some recommendations. The monitors are not for gaming or graphic design. I'm using for business in software development. I was really disappointed that two of the Dell E2209WF monitors died after little more than a year. I'd like to get widescreen monitors again. I do like the widescreen. I'm curious of any feedback on some solid widescreen monitors that hold up well and have a good display, response time, colors, and a reasonable price point.

Any recommendations and input would be much appreciated.

Well, the Acer does have a slightly larger screen than the Dell. But like I said in my last post, many people said that it was very difficult to mount the Acer on any kind of arm stand. The Dell however, was said to be very easy to mount and the stand comes off with the press of a button.

Thanks for your reply! I don't want anything smaller than I currently have with the Dell E2209WF monitor. I can't really go bigger than 30" because with three of them it will be longer than my desk space.

I'm looking at the following two monitors:

Dell Monitor

Acer Monitor

I don't know need the charging station because I will not be using the monitor stand. I will have a 3 monitor floating setup. Also, the Dell is not a widescreen. The Acer is widescreen which I like, but can the monitor stand be removed off of that Acer monitor?

Any thoughts on these monitors or other suggestions?

Sorry for the late reply. The Dell is a widescreen. Any monitor with an aspect ratio of 16:9 is a widescreen, which that one does. The Acer is a tiny bit larger than the Dell with an additional .8 inches on the screen size, but it does not have built in speakers (if that is something you want them to have let me know). I am fairly certain the stand on the Acer can be removed. The Dell does have built in speakers.

As for recommendations, I found an HP monitor here that you should look at.

After looking a bit on Amazon, many people are saying that the Acer monitor cannot be mounted to a swing arm, or it's very difficult to do so.

Hi, thanks for the recommendation! I don't need the built in speakers as I have some Logitech speakers and a nice Logitech bass speaker that do great. Since I don't need the built in speakers, is the Acer a better choice? I've primarily always purchased Dell. I have Dell Precision T5400 that has done very well for me over the years. I'm needing to upgrade to a new PC as well, but wanted to start with monitors first.
