Three monitors but only two HDMI ports, USB port not an option

Hello. I have an HP Envy 750-114 Desk Top with an Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 display adapter. The desk top only has two HDMI ports and I would like to run three monitors. I have researched the display adapter and it is capable of running three monitors. I purchased an HDMI to USB adapter for the third monitor, but it does not work. Through further research I found out that my particular display adapter will not work via a USB port. Do I have any other options? Thank you!

Thank you for your help! I figured that there must be something that would work. I bought a cheap HDMI to USB, and got what I paid for. I did not want to spend significant money, if it wasn't going to do the job.

Definitely no games. Just want a third screen to make my work easier. I'm a work from home real estate appraiser, and I'm just tired of minimizing stuff constantly. I thought splitting the screen would be the answer, but it sucks.

Thanks again!
Correct, that make/model only is listed to have 2x HDMI ports.

You have two options.

1. Use a PCIe video card with 3x ports.
2. Use a USB to HDMI/DVI/DP adapter (whatever you need). The USB adapter is essentially an external GPU by the name of DisplayLink; as such, it will be enumerated as another video card in device manager when you plug it in.

IMHO, USB DisplayLink based adapters are flakey. I've see various application crash that are GDI (video accelerated) based when moving a window (such as a web browser) over to a monitor that's connected to one of these USB display adapters. The drivers have gotten better, but...I much prefer a dedicated PCIe card whenever possible.

Edit: specs for that PC lists as having a 300 watt PSU. It's falls within recommondations of nVidia to support a GTX 1050 card. I'd recommend a 1030 for being on a budget, but so far I've only been able to see the 1050 series support 3x monitors.

Sorry. I have a couple of options. Two of the monitors are HP V241p. They each have a VGA and a DVI-P. I'm using the DVI-P to HDMI cable for one of these (the other one is the one that I can't hook up). The third monitor is an HP 27o. It has a VGA and an HDMI. I'm using the HDMI.

Thank you!

StarTech.com USB 3.0 to 4K HDMI External Multi Monitor Graphics Adapter (USB32HD4K) = $49.99

USB3.0 to HDMI Adapter, USB to HDMI Converter with 1080P for Windows 7/8/10 Computer ONLY ( NO MAC / Linux /VISTA) $16.99

I'd recommend getting the one from StarTech.

If you're wanting to play games on this 3rd monitor, don't go with a USB solution (it can't handle it). Seriously look into a GTX 1050 card.
