Three Rams on Intel chipset board

In my memory, Amd couldn't support Three rams.

Does Intel chipset works fine with Three Rams? (1G + 1G + 1G).

Depends on the board.

If you board is so old as to only have 3 slots, then most likely it can't handle over 2gb of RAM.

If the board supports dual channel ram, using three make all revert to single channel, thus slowing ram performance.
