Built new pc using old hard drive disks, and one new SSD. Motherboard is z170a gaming m5.
Could only install from my Windows 7 32 bit disk.
Did so onto SSD
Downloaded windows 7 64 bit (I have the key but no disk for it)
Went to wipe SSD, and install 64bit. * Everything went fine until it went to reboot, and gave me the 0xc0000225 error after it rebooted.
Tried to repair with the installation disk, nothing.
Tried to wipe and install again, nothing.
Now, after a few attempted I still get the error, and after dismissing it it brings me to a screen that let's me choose which operating system I wanna boot. SOME HOW it's showing 3. 2 called windows 7, and one called windows 7 professional (repaired). Or maybe not repaired (in the bracket) but something similar.
Please help. I have no idea how after only installing on SSD and wiping said SSD I have the multiple options, and how nothing boots.

Solution
There must have been at least one other instance of Windows already installed somewhere, otherwise you wouldn't have ended up with that dual-boot menu (choose which OS you want to boot).

I repeat: Remove or disconnect all drives from the system except the ODD & SDD, then reformat SSD and install 64-bit Windows on it again.
I assume you installed new Windows on SSD with old hard drive(s) still connected which also contain a Windows installation?
That's why Windows thinks you want a dual-boot system which gives you a menu to choose which OS to boot.

Remove or disconnect all drives from the system except the ODD & SDD, then reformat SSD and install Windows on it again.

That was the case when I installed 32 bit. And it installed fine. Then when I went to install 64 bit I deleted both the SSD partition with the 32bit, as well as the partition that contained the old windows. It should be gone now...

Thanks. Everything works now. I'm yet to reconnect the other HDDs but I don't see why it would stop working.

I got another question, as not to make a separate thread:
I have the z170a gaming m5 motherboard. It's installation Cd gives me (among other things) a program called MSI live update 6. When I used that damn thing to download some updated on my 32 bit windows yesterday, I think it updated the bios wrong, and the PC kept getting BSOD and it looked like it had problems with running out of ram and then just shutting down.
I was wondering if it's some known problem, of if it was just a 1 off screw up by me, maybe because it was with 32 bit windows.
