Laptop model: Acer Nitro 5 AN515-58
CPU: I7-12600H
GPU: RTX 3060
RAM: 16GB

My CPU throttles but it's temp doesn't decrease, although fan rotates at 7000 rpm .
Temp during throttling and max fan speed is almost 100 degrees. The laptop shut down automatically.
This happened on heavy duty gaming session, Is this normal ??

I have disabled optimus option from Bios and running on Discreat GPU only . Also I'm on Balanced Power Option from control panel.

Thermal Paste has been replaced and dust inside is has been cleaned .

Can you check to see if your laptop is pending any BIOS updates? In hindsight, your laptop should be thermal throttling.

Thermal Paste is replaced and dust inside is cleaned .
Can you tell us what brand thermal paste and pads you'd used to replace the factory thermal paste and pads with? Ona side note, have you tried undervolting your discrete GPU?

2 methods

1 use throttle stop to undervolt the cpu or 2 turn off turbo boost. depends on how confortable you are with deep diving into the unknown.

Perhaps you could consider one of those laptop cooling bases or pads or even external fans to help the internal fans.
Wouldn't help because the laptop is set up to run as fast as possible up to the allowed temp and cooling it more would just make it go harder, you would have to brute force cooling to above the max the CPU/GPU combo can put out and that's not gonna happen with a base.

Show some pictures from the bios.
If it has the options you should decrease max allowed temp so that it is below the temp at which the CPU shuts down.
You should also set a new fan curve and possibly put in some TDP limit.

My Bios version is 1.06 and is out of date ، could a Bios Update Fix the problem ?
I'm using K5 Pro Thermal Paste.

A photo of Bios interface , If it dont include all imformation you need just tell me and I will send you more.

Look at the advanced tab, thermal configuration should let you change target temps, if you put it lower than the shut off temp then it will at least not shut down anymore.
In some bios versions it could also have overclocking options where you could make it run cooler if yours have it.

I don't have this options, is it because my bios version needs update or my system don't come with this tap?

My canned response to laptop performance issues:
---------------------------
I see many complaints about gaming laptops not performing well.
Usually gaming while plugged in.
One common cause is thermal throttling.
Laptop coolers must, of necessity be small and light.
The coolers are also relatively underpowered.
If you run an app such as HWMonitor or HWinfo, you will get the current, minimum, and maximum cpu temperatures. Set to see each individual core.
For intel processors, if you see a max of 100c. in red, it means you have throttled.
I think the number for ryzen is more like 85c-90c.
The cpu will lower it's multiplier and power draw to protect itself until the situation reverses.
At a lower multiplier, your cpu usage may well be at 100%
What can you do?
First, see that your cooler airways are clear and that the cooler fan is spinning.
Use a windows balanced power profile, not the performance profile.
Set a minimum cpu performance to something like 20%

It is counter-intuitive, but, try changing the windows balanced power profile advanced functions to a max of 95% instead of the default of 100%
You may not notice the reduced cpu performance.
