I recently bought a second hand Ferrari GT Experience wheel for use when playing Assetto Corsa, but I'm having serious problems with the steering. Whenever I steer, the movement is VERY choppy, often there is no response until about the 45 degree mark and then the wheel jumps to that point. When I return the wheel to the center often the in game wheel simply stops at the 45 degree mark, and I have to jiggle the wheel to get it to center. Also, with the wheel centered and with no input, it often steers constantly to the right, a few degrees every second or so, like clockwork.

Can anyone give me some advice on what I can do to remedy this? If the wheel is busted is there something I can do to repair it?

I found for my self that a complete uninstall and reinstall of the software helped.

Other times a simple reboot.
And yet another time just going over the guts of it in control panel to use windows controller app to see if that works.

The worse time I had was when I was in a dirty place for a while and I figured what the heck. So I took it apart as I figured it was dead anyhow.

I found a lot of dirt inside.
After removing the dirt it worked like a charm and still does. That was in 2002 :)

Hope this helps.
