THRUSTMASTER GAMEPAD ISSUE - Erratic

I have a Thrustmaster Dual Analog 4 Gamepad. It functions perfectly in the Windows 7 control panel calibration screen, loading Xpadder and reading the data inputs it sits dead centre and responds as expected. Most games it works 100%

My problem is certain games, such as Hawken for example and a few arcade things, immediately on loading the thing gets stuck in a left+slightly up input. You can counter by holding the left d-pad in an opposing direction, but there is clearly input when there shouldn't be.

Calibration in windows and re-calibration does nothing. Installing the thrustmaster, microsoft, x-box, ps/4 and even a no name brand driver manually, has the exact same effect.

I've tried using X-Padders "pass through" option, still does it.

To re-iterate, it is only certain games, and quite a list, about half my titles that does this. I have COMPLETELY removed every .ini and .cpl and .dll and re-installed them, still does it. Admittedly the only thing I haven't done is try on another machine, but i don't care if it does or doesn't work there, it must work here dammit!

HAAAAAAAAALP

Solution
Wonderfully, the solution was to remove all .cpl .ini etc relating to the official Thrustmaster drivers, and revert to the original generic windows drivers in their entirety. Makes complete sense right?

So - DONT use the Thrustmaster drivers people.
