Thrustmaster Pedals

I have a Thrustmaster Nascar Pro Digital 2 Wheel. I've got the latest Thrustmapper Software installed (have tried older versions too), but here's the problem:
Whenever I apply pressure (even if just a little) the pedals register as if I am pressing them all the way down. One graphic in the Thrustmapper utility shows how much I am pressing the pedals correctly. However, in another graphic and in-game, It's either on or off--no gradation. As you could assume, this sucks for racing games. Anyone else have this problem?

having kinda the same problem cant seoerate the axis for the pedals . for nascar 2003 the pedals need to be on thier own axis. thrustmapper will not work with vista. anyone know how to fix this problem?
