Hey,

I was wondering if anyone had a solution to this. I have searched online for about an hour or more and cannot find a solution. DIrt 3 on PC will not detect my new wheel. The wheel plays with Project Cars, AC, Dirt Rally and others. I looked within the files to see if it was mapped and it is, along with 20 or so other wheels. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to get the game to detect a wheel, other than just the keyboard?

To note - I have tried pushing buttons on the wheel while at the main screen, rather than hitting a keyboard key, I had this issue with my old G27 wheel.

Thanks.

Solution
The T500RS wheel and pedals ect.

May require you to set up the controller within windows.
If you go to device manger of windows.

Click sound video and gaming controllers
You should see the T500RS listed in there.

Click on it

There will be an option to calibrate the T500RS and the pedals in there.
There will be an option to use the wheel and pedals as a combined paired kit.
Or calibrate each as a separate controller independent of each other on calibration setup.
Follow the on screen instructions for full calibration and detection within windows os.

Once done and calibrated click on apply then ok.

When you select the controller option in dirt 3 as the T500RS it should now respond Joe.

It is normally because in windows it`s self the device has to be calibrated first.
Other than using the provided thrust master usb driver, and configuration app provided on the disk that came with the T500RS kit.

Solution
Shaun,

Thank you for the quick response. I did look under the devices, for whatever reason, it's not listed. I'm using Windows 10. I unplugged the wheel and pedals, tried usb 2 as opposed to 3.0. Seems like it could be a bug.
