hello,

few days ago my ONBOARD LAN card was damaged due to thunderstorm.NOW i have a BIG problem.

my motherboard :( :http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128473

BINGO i dong have a pci slot!! so i switched to other alternative USB to LAN adapter HY-QF9700 :Ad link removed
well it said it was plug and play but it WAS NOT! i got a driver cd with it but it was of no use.

my OS: windows 7 64 bit and windows 7 32 bit (dual boot)

then i searched the internet for the drivers and got both 32 bit and 64 bit drivers.i installed the device with the drivers in 32 bit OS with 32 bit driver and the installation was successful. but when i plug in the ethernet cable to it, it was showing no change(still unplugged).
i went to my friends PC and tried it there and to my surprise it was it was working after installing the same drivers.his OS is windows 7 32 bit.
then i swithched to 64 bit os of mine but when i tried to install the drivers it was asking for digital signatures on the drivers, so it shown with little yellow mark and was not working when i plugged in the cable.

HOW DO I MAKE THIS THING TO WORK??

IS THERE OTHER DEVICE LIKE THIS THAT CAN SUPPORT MY OS AND MB? WHAT OPTIONS DO I HAVE?

I DON'T HAVE THE MB WARRANTY.SO CANT REPLACE..

GUYS PLEASE HELP! I AM CLUELESS...
