Question Thunderbird question

I just installed thew Thunderbird email client. (mozilla)
With my previous e-mail client when I received a reply from the forum it included the comment and a link back to the post.
Now I am just getting the subject line but no content from the forum.

sound like you only download the subject and not the detail.

Is there a setting for the detail ?
