I am using a Gigabyte Alpine ridge (rev.2) on an AsRock x570 phantom gaming 4 MoBo to link my Quest to play steam vr games, or i was until USB C no longer seems to transfer data. I still get power but can't connect quest or even phone to it for data. Been searching all over but can't find anything that matches up with my circumstances. Quest works fine over USB 3 but i want to be able to charge while playing and USB 3 isn't strong enough to link and charge. Please help, i'm at a lose for what might have changed.

X570 would have more than one usb3 header and probably 5 or more usb3 ports.

It the Gigabyte Alpine Ridge broken?

Well it still provides power just won't connect any devices for data transfer. I don't know how I would even test it aside from getting another one and swapping to see if its the card or something else. It worked about 2-3 months ago without any problems so aside from some sort of update that i can't seem to find on the web i can't figure out what would be wrong
