I have a msi laptop with a thunderbolt 3 and a benq monitor of 144hz with a dvi dual link port! Can some of you tell me if there is a cable or an adapter from Thunderbolt 3 (present in my laptop) to dvi dual link that is in my BenQ monitor that can handle 144hz or at least plus 100 hz??

Solution
There is no adapter that will allow you to connect Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Dual Link DVI and achieve 1080@144 Hz. However, there is an adapter that will allow you to connect Mini DisplayPort (mDP) to Dual Link DVI.

You are looking for an Active Mini DisplayPort to Dual Link DVI adapter:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00856WJH8 (only 1080@120 Hz)

Or if use a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort adapter, then your are looking for an Active DisplayPort to Dual Link DVI adapter:

If you decide to search around for other adapters, do take note that all of the adapters I posted have...

If you decide to search around for other adapters, do take note that all of the adapters I posted have an additional USB connector. This is to provide extra power to the adapter. This is a necessary requirement.
