Question Thunderbolt 3

I happen to have a Dell g3 1050ti version and it has a maxxq 1060 version which has thunderbolt 3 support. now, I had a look at the motherboard and found out there's empty solder points and space for a thunderbolt 3 controller and a female input piece on the motherboard is there any way I can solder on these components and thunderbolt will work?
If yes how?
